Role Overview

Clinical social work role supporting patients and families with psychological, social, environmental, financial and emotional issues through psychosocial assessment and targeted intervention.

Responsibilities

Manage and prioritise caseloads, complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments, develop care and intervention plans, advocate for patient rights and long-term needs, coordinate with internal teams and government/charitable agencies, supervise junior staff where required, contribute to service policies and education, maintain confidentiality, and complete licensure and mandatory training requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work plus a Master's degree in Social Work, with at least two years of post-qualification experience in a related field.

• Psychosocial assessment, care planning, advocacy, case management, multidisciplinary coordination, confidentiality and professional communication.
