Role Overview

Mediclinic Middle East is recruiting a Consultant Intensivist / ICU to provide patient-centred, evidence-based specialist medical care in accordance with ethical, professional and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional and ethical clinical services efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Comply with clinical-governance and quality-management standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Maintain excellence through continuous professional development for self and colleagues.
• Deliver services with professional integrity and responsible ethical practice.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Basic medical degree plus a recognized higher specialist qualification/fellowship/diploma.
• Certification and registration in the relevant specialty recognized by the UAE healthcare authority.
• Active valid life-support certification appropriate to specialty.
• At least 3–5 years of post-qualification experience at Consultant level; at least one year of Tier-1-country consultant experience is desirable.
• Ability to support clinical clerkship training, use electronic medical records, communicate effectively, understand clinical audit and communicate in English; Arabic is an advantage.
