Role Overview

Healthcare instructor role delivering life-support, medical and trauma education through classroom, practical and simulation-based learning.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom lectures, practical skills sessions, simulation-based training, case discussions, megacode scenarios and competency assessments; assess knowledge, hands-on skills, clinical decision-making, teamwork, communication and adherence to resuscitation algorithms; facilitate engaging learning; participate in course scheduling, instructor allocation and preparation; coordinate with internal teams and external clients; and maintain high training and participant-experience standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

At least two years of relevant healthcare, clinical-practice or training experience; Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Paramedicine, Emergency Medical Services or another relevant healthcare discipline; and current instructor certification from a recognised organisation such as AHA, HSI/ASHI, NAEMT, Highfield or another approved resuscitation body. Strong teaching, presentation, facilitation, simulation and assessment skills plus sound clinical judgement are required.
