Role Overview

Personal Trainer role assessing clients, building individual fitness programmes and providing practical coaching, motivation and wellness guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' current fitness levels and identify individual goals and needs.
• Design personalised exercise and training programmes.
• Demonstrate and supervise correct exercise techniques to protect client safety.
• Track progress and adjust training plans when needed.
• Motivate clients and encourage sustainable healthy-lifestyle habits.
• Provide appropriate guidance on nutrition and wellness.
• Maintain accurate client records and progress reports.
• Keep the gym and equipment clean, safe and properly maintained.
• Stay current with fitness trends and training techniques.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Recognised Personal Trainer certification.
• Previous experience as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy and nutrition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire clients at different fitness levels.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays when required.
