Role Overview

Finance-operations role in Istanbul handling payment execution, bank interfaces, accounting support, period-end processes and cross-functional improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Accounting, Tax, HR, Treasury, FP&A and financial institutions to ensure payments are accurate and completed on time.
• Transmit payment files to banks for assigned countries through the ERP environment and follow up on payment issues.
• Process manual payments through global electronic-banking platforms where required.
• Support entries and controls connected with subledger accounting, IFRS, Turkish reporting/tax requirements and controlling.
• Contribute to period-end closing and reporting activities.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives intended to improve financial processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics.
• Very good English; German or Russian is an advantage.
• Zero to two years of experience in banking, accounting, tax, controlling, financial reporting or audit.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, result-oriented and analytical approach with openness to collaboration.
