Role Overview

Clinical dietitian role supporting inpatient, outpatient, satellite-clinic and, where required, home-based dietetic services.

Responsibilities

Assess and continually review nutritional needs; manage an assigned caseload; provide evidence-based dietetic interventions; evaluate and manage nutritional risk; develop individual/group nutrition plans with patients and multidisciplinary teams; counsel and educate patients and carers; liaise with catering services; support menu/recipe planning and meal-quality inspection; maintain nutritional, food-safety and sanitation standards; and contribute to service quality and patient experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

DHA licence; BSc in Dietetics or a Health Science degree majoring in Nutrition plus postgraduate diploma/master's in Dietetics; recent appropriate service experience within the last two years. Requires resuscitation certification as applicable, active CPD, confidentiality, MS Office, communication, adaptability and problem-solving skills.
