Role Overview

Senior health-informatics role supporting and optimising clinical healthcare applications, EMR adoption, workflow improvement and system integration across SEHA facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead healthcare IT projects, application enhancements and optimisation; act as subject-matter expert for EMR and clinical information systems; work with clinicians, operations and vendors to improve workflows; manage configuration, testing, troubleshooting and change; support clinical transformation, analytics and benefits-realisation; maintain security, access management, compliance and audit readiness; contribute to training, user-adoption programmes and upgrades.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Clinical Informatics, Health Informatics or a related field; six to eight years supporting hospital information systems, with Oracle Health/Cerner preferred and Epic advantageous; at least two years of supervisory or team-lead experience; knowledge of healthcare applications, project management and process improvement; experience with PowerChart, FirstNet, RadNet, PharmNet and anaesthesia solutions. PMP, Prince2 or ITIL are advantageous; Middle East experience and Arabic are preferred.

Skills

• EMR/HIS optimisation, Oracle Health/Cerner, clinical workflow design, application configuration/testing, change management, healthcare analytics, access/security, vendor management and user adoption.
