Ward Clerk roles supporting inpatient billing and pediatric nursing departments with hospital administration, patient-flow coordination and clerical services.

Responsibilities

Provide clerical and administrative support; maintain accurate patient records and filing; coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges and appointments; liaise with patients, families, physicians and nurses; manage calls, emails and correspondence; support data entry and reports; coordinate investigations, referrals and follow-up; process documentation promptly; maintain confidentiality; support daily department operations and customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus previous Ward Clerk, Medical Secretary, Patient Administrator or similar healthcare-administration experience. Requires organisation, communication, Microsoft Office and multitasking skills; availability for shifts/weekends/holidays. UAE healthcare experience is advantageous.
