Role Overview

Lead Nurse role providing expert nursing leadership for an Institute outpatient service and driving safe, high-quality patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical nursing standards and outpatient operations; oversee patient flow and safe evidence-based care; mentor and develop nursing staff; collaborate with the Institute clinical director and practice/operations leadership; monitor quality, safety and performance; support staffing and resource use; drive service improvement; and ensure alignment with DHA, JCI and hospital requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

BSc Nursing or equivalent; postgraduate qualification in clinical nursing, nursing leadership or healthcare management is desirable; valid DHA nursing licence or eligibility. At least seven years' post-registration clinical nursing experience including at least two years in a senior nursing role within an outpatient, ambulatory or institute setting.
