Role Overview

Dermatology Senior Registrar role providing comprehensive dermatology care across inpatient and outpatient services while supporting departmental quality and multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for admitted dermatology patients under own responsibility or consultant supervision.
• Manage outpatient clinics when assigned in line with the approved departmental rota.
• Assess patients, request investigations, interpret results, establish diagnoses, plan treatment and conduct follow-up within granted privileges.
• Apply hospital-approved clinical guidelines and care pathways to support safe, high-quality care.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, residents and other clinicians in patient management.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and departmental activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Medical qualification and specialist training appropriate to Dermatology Senior Registrar level.
• Must hold or be eligible for relevant Saudi Commission for Health Specialties classification and professional licensing.
• Clinical dermatology experience appropriate to senior registrar scope, including medical and procedural dermatology.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, teamwork and patient-management skills.
• Commitment to hospital clinical guidelines, patient safety and quality standards.
