Role Overview

Specialist tissue-viability nursing role developing and implementing evidence-based wound and skin-care services across Amana's post-acute care pathways.

Responsibilities

Assess skin and wound conditions; develop and implement evidence-based wound-care plans; coordinate multidisciplinary management; support prevention and management of pressure and tissue injuries; educate and train staff; contribute to policies and improvement activities; participate in incidence/prevalence monitoring and KPI collection; support investigations and root-cause analyses; and ensure continuity of care for residents with active skin injuries.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, at least three years' experience in a large hospital setting, strong communication/teamwork/leadership and current best-practice knowledge. The vacancy expects willingness to complete a recognised Tissue Viability certification within 12 months where required, with applicable UAE nursing licensure.
