Role Overview

Mediclinic Middle East is hiring a Registered Midwife to provide and coordinate evidence-based maternity care for women and newborns across antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum stages.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care to antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum women and neonates with the multiprofessional team.
• Identify, prevent and manage clinical risks to protect patient safety.
• Create positive patient and family experiences under nursing/midwifery leadership.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of all nursing/midwifery interventions according to company and legal requirements.
• Supervise, mentor and coach learners and staff to build competence.
• Use stock and equipment efficiently under Mediclinic guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor’s degree.
• At least two years of current/recent experience as a Registered Midwife in Labour and Delivery.
• Computer literacy/Microsoft Office, strong written and verbal communication and knowledge of patient-safety standards.
