Role Overview
Mediclinic Middle East is hiring a Dental Assistant to support safe dental-care delivery within scope of practice and applicable dental legislation.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist in delivering quality dental services according to clinical standards and legislation.
- Identify, prevent and manage risks to support patient safety.
- Help create a positive patient experience under hospital leadership.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of dental interventions according to company and legal requirements.
- Use stock and dental equipment efficiently according to Mediclinic guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
- DDS, DMD or BDS, or a Diploma in Dental Assisting/Dental Nursing, or Registered/Assistant Nurse qualification meeting licensure criteria.
- At least two years of experience as a qualified Dental Assistant; UAE dental-assistant experience is desirable.
- Basic Arabic, patient-safety knowledge, computer/MS Office literacy and effective written/spoken English.
