American Hospital Dubai is recruiting a Director of Physiotherapy in Dubai to lead the Physiotherapy Division across clinical, operational and financial functions.
Job Description
The role provides strategic leadership for physiotherapy services, program development, clinical excellence, service growth, quality governance and operational performance while maintaining alignment with DHA requirements and JCI accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the clinical, administrative and financial operations of the Physiotherapy Division and align service delivery with hospital goals.
- Develop strategic plans to expand physiotherapy services, improve access and outcomes, and manage cost efficiency.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, staffing plan and resource allocation for the division.
- Maintain JCI and DHA compliance, monitor quality indicators and lead continuous-improvement actions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care and support smooth transitions across care pathways.
- Lead staff development, stakeholder communication, research activity and academic partnerships where relevant.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) or a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- DHA licence or eligibility.
- At least nine years of progressive physiotherapy experience, including at least two years in a supervisory or management role in a clinical or hospital setting.
