Role Overview

Mediclinic Middle East is recruiting a Locum Patient Administrator - Emergency to support patient care by efficiently managing appointments, registration, insurance, billing and front-office service.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient appointment scheduling and registration accurately and efficiently.
• Manage medical-insurance processes and related administrative tasks.
• Handle billing and cash-up processes accurately.
• Meet customer-service expectations and improve the quality of patient service.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Completed secondary school education (Grade 12).
• A tertiary diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in medical science, finance or accounting, is desirable.
• About 2–3 years of customer-service experience, preferably in healthcare; contact-centre or healthcare experience is desirable.
• Computer literacy/MS Office, CRM and hospital-information-system familiarity, knowledge of insurance terminology/processes, medical terminology, numerical literacy and scheduling/registration processes.
