Role Overview

American Hospital Dubai is recruiting a Physical Therapist to assess patients and deliver individualized rehabilitation using therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual techniques and indicated physical modalities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patients and plan physiotherapy interventions around clinical findings and functional goals.
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy and massage.
• Use indicated modalities such as cryotherapy, heat, TENS, therapeutic ultrasound, interferential therapy, mechanical traction and electrical stimulation.
• Provide specialist interventions such as lymphedema management and pelvic-floor therapy when within scope.
• Document treatment, progress and outcomes and coordinate care and discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy.
• Current professional licence/registration and valid/eligible DHA licence.
• At least two years of relevant post-certification physiotherapy experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment-planning, patient-safety and communication skills.
• Excellent English communication.
