Role Overview

Physiotherapist role providing safe, effective, evidence-based and comprehensive physiotherapy services for complex patient presentations.

Responsibilities

Work with physiotherapy and multidisciplinary colleagues; supervise junior staff where required; practise within policies and procedures; maintain SOP and quality-assurance testing; document all interventions; support clinical audit; communicate professionally with patients, families and healthcare providers; assist with student training; safeguard patients from abuse or neglect; and accept other appropriate duties within qualifications and competence.

Requirements and Qualifications

At least two years as a physiotherapist in a large hospital with relevant experience in patients comparable to those seen in acute-care or rehabilitation facilities. A broad ICU/acute medical-surgical background and one year of demonstrated leadership are preferred.
