Role Overview

American Hospital Dubai is hiring a Senior Staff Nurse for OPD to oversee clinic clinical operations, coordinate patient care and maintain safe, efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, patient-centred nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform focused, age-appropriate assessments and continually assess physical and psychological needs.
• Coordinate patient care and support smooth, safe clinic flow in line with policies and procedures.
• Close patient-safety action points promptly, support root-cause analysis and ensure corrective issues are addressed.
• Maintain and report clinical KPIs, including monthly patient-safety data-board requirements.
• Work closely with Patient Relations, clinic leadership and the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing of at least three years, or the accepted two-year nursing degree plus Registered Nurse registration from specified countries.
• UAE-national and UAE-graduate training/experience rules apply as described in the vacancy.
• Valid professional licence/registration and valid Basic Life Support certification.
• Approximately 3–5 years of recent post-graduate nursing experience; Team Leader or Senior Registered Nurse experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate care, physical/psychological assessment, care coordination and prioritisation; BCLS is essential.
