Role Overview

American Hospital Dubai is hiring a Staff Nurse for satellite outpatient clinics to provide direct nursing care to paediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and coordinate multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, patient-centred care using the nursing process across paediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.
• Perform focused, age-appropriate assessments and continually assess physical and psychological needs.
• Involve patients, significant others and healthcare providers in the plan of care when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and coordinate clinical pathways, priorities and individualised care.
• Document care, maintain patient safety and infection-control standards and support outpatient workflow.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing of at least three years, or the employer's accepted two-year nursing pathway with Registered Nurse registration from specified countries.
• Applicable UAE-national and UAE-university graduate exemption/training rules as stated in the vacancy.
• Valid professional licence/registration and BLS/BCLS certification.
• At least two years of recent post-graduate nursing experience.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate care and skills in physical/psychological assessment, care coordination and prioritisation.
