Role Overview

American Hospital Dubai is recruiting an Ultrasound Technologist for night duty to perform diagnostic and interventional ultrasound examinations and support quality, safety, scheduling and emergency workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform requested ultrasound examinations under hospital and Medical Imaging protocols.
• Carry out OB/GYN, abdominal, small-parts, vascular, neonatal, musculoskeletal and interventional ultrasound procedures.
• Participate in quality-improvement and education programmes, staff meetings and unit projects.
• Schedule patients, evaluate critical and emergency examination needs and coordinate procedural requirements with radiologists.
• Perform safety checks, support incident/accident follow-up and patient-complaint resolution, and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in diagnostic ultrasound/sonography, medical imaging or radiography, or recognized associate degree/diploma in ultrasound with required credential.
• Active professional registration and valid/eligible DHA licence.
• At least two years of relevant ultrasound experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology, imaging safety and relevant quality/accreditation standards.
• Strong patient assessment, positioning, monitoring and communication skills.
