2. Job Description

The specialist conducts general and regional anesthesia, supports painless-labor techniques, supervises registrars and performs invasive and non-invasive patient monitoring through the perioperative pathway.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for anesthesia.
• Conduct general and regional anesthesia in elective and emergency cases.
• Perform painless-labor anesthesia techniques where required.
• Supervise registrars in their clinical work.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive patient-monitoring techniques.
• Complete pre-anesthesia checks, conduct anesthesia and care for patients in recovery.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

• Higher qualification in Anesthesia after graduation from a recognized medical school.
• At least five years of anesthesia practice after the higher qualification.
• Minimum ten years of anesthesia experience, including at least seven years after the higher anesthesia qualification.
