Job Description
Coordinate substance-use prevention initiatives that address the factors behind harmful use and promote healthier decisions for individuals, families and communities. Engage individuals, families and communities to improve awareness, support healthy behaviours and limit risk factors. Work with health providers, schools and community organizations to strengthen resilience and wellbeing.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Either a bachelor’s degree in public health concentrating on health education, or a healthcare-related bachelor’s degree combined with an accredited health-education certificate.
- Eligibility for Qatar’s Health and Wellness Educator professional licence.
- A valid primary professional licence from the home country, when applicable.
- Bachelor’s route: six years of clinical experience in healthcare, including two years of certified health-education clinical service and one year in community or behavioural health, substance-use prevention or mental-health services.
- Master’s route: four years of healthcare experience, including the same two years in certified health-education clinical service and one year in the stated community/behavioural/substance-use prevention/mental-health fields.
