Job Description

The clinical research monitor ensures protocol and amendment compliance, adherence to Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements, and helps design, develop and implement an effective institutional monitoring program.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify compliance with approved protocols, amendments, ICH-GCP and local procedures.
• Perform and document monitoring visits and maintain tracking reports.
• Review adverse event reporting, informed study documentation, withdrawals and regulatory submissions.
• Train research teams, identify deviations and oversee corrective actions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological, health or biomedical sciences, or equivalent.
• Five or more years of clinical research monitoring/quality assurance in an internationally regulated EMA/FDA setting or contract research organization.
• Clinical research certification (ACRP-CCRA or SOCRA), or willingness to obtain it within the stated period.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant life science.
