The Consultant – Physical Medicine (Female) position supports Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation activities in a specialist hospital environment in Kuwait. 3. Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist inpatient and outpatient consultation in physical medicine and rheumatology-related care.
• Review referrals, clinical histories and investigations and develop appropriate medical-management plans.
• Perform procedures within granted clinical privileges and guide junior medical staff.
• Support patient safety, clinical quality, education, orientation and continuing medical education.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

• Medical degree with advanced specialist training in Physical Medicine and Rheumatology or a closely related specialty.
• Postgraduate membership, fellowship, MD or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Valid Kuwait Ministry of Health Consultant licence for the applicable specialty.
• Extensive post-specialty clinical experience; approximately 12 years in total with substantial post-qualification practice is preferred.

5. Preferred Qualifications

• BLS certification is desirable.
• Arabic language capability is preferred.
