Job Description

The physiotherapist applies sports-rehabilitation methods within an interdisciplinary performance team, adapting care plans to the mechanical and physical demands of athletics events.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess sports injuries and design individual physiotherapy and rehabilitation plans.
• Monitor recovery and adjust treatment toward safe return to athletics training and competition.
• Coordinate care with the performance medicine manager, coaches and clinical colleagues.
• Support evidence-based injury prevention and athlete conditioning within physiotherapy scope.
• Use clinical therapy together with conditioning and neuromuscular performance work to support return-to-play readiness.
• Coordinate rehabilitation priorities with the Manager of Performance Medicine and athlete-support specialists.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Six to eight years of relevant practice, with two to three years in a comparable role.
• Bachelor’s or master’s qualification in physiotherapy and eligibility for professional licensing in Qatar.
• Demonstrable track-and-field experience and sound knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced sports-physiotherapy qualification.
• Additional strength-and-conditioning or performance-therapy credentials.
