Royale Hayat Hospital is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its Home Care Department in Kuwait. The role focuses on safe nursing services delivered in collaboration with the patient, family and multidisciplinary health-care team.
2. Job Description
This full-time role plans and delivers home-care nursing, assesses patients in their homes, administers medication safely, supports patient and family education and coordinates care with the multidisciplinary team.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritize home visits according to patient health and scheduling needs.
- Use the nursing process to develop, coordinate and implement care plans with patients and families.
- Complete patient assessments, monitoring and clinical decision-making in the home setting.
- Assess home risks to support patient and staff safety.
- Administer medications safely under hospital policy and home-care competencies.
- Operate equipment required for patient care in the home.
- Document care according to home-care policy and provide health education to patients and families.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary health-care team.
4. Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing.
- Licence to practise nursing in Kuwait.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
5. Preferred Qualifications
- Three to five years of home-care or community-nursing experience is preferred.
- Emergency, ICU, Medicine, Surgery or NICU hospital experience is considered an asset.
- Arabic-language skills are desirable.
