The Registrar – Dermatology position supports Dermatology activities in a specialist hospital environment in Kuwait. The role focuses on the clinical, professional or technical responsibilities listed below, while working with relevant teams and following hospital quality and safety standards.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform complete skin examinations for dermatologic conditions.
• Diagnose and manage skin disorders, including pediatric and venereal conditions within scope.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and topical therapies and provide follow-up care.
• Perform or assist with approved dermatologic procedures such as dermabrasion, laser abrasion, intralesional steroid treatment and chemical peels.
• Request investigations or referrals when needed and maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Follow patient-safety, infection-control and continuing-education standards.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

• Medical degree with postgraduate qualification in Dermatology.
• Valid Kuwait Ministry of Health Dermatology Registrar licence.
• Relevant dermatology experience, with approximately five years in total and at least three years after the postgraduate qualification.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization and clinical decision-making skills.

• Arabic language capability is preferred.
