Job Description

The speech and language pathologist provides safe, effective pediatric speech-language therapy and family-centered care; the employer explicitly states that prior experience with pediatric swallowing disorders is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess communication and swallowing needs, conduct relevant tests and design individualized therapy programs.
• Manage pediatric caseloads, document clinical outcomes and coordinate referrals and discharge planning.
• Teach families and colleagues and supervise junior staff and students.
• Contribute to clinical quality, evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary team care.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology/Therapy.
• Five or more years of clinical practice in a comparable role, including at least two years in pediatrics.
• Professional registration in the home country and eligibility for Qatar licensing.
• Written and spoken English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
• At least two years in pediatric dysphagia, specialist certification or Arabic and English bilingual ability.
